Stories & Vino

Discover Kasteel Kerckebosch in a way that stimulates all your senses. As our sommelier pours three exceptional wines—each with its own character—you will taste not only the flavors, but also the history. During an atmospheric guided tour, we take you past centuries-old details and hidden corners of the castle, tucked away on the edge of the Zeisterbos. With each wine, we serve a refined amuse-bouche from our kitchen, matched to both the glass and the moment.

The perfect prelude to a tasteful dinner in our Bistoria, or simply a special way to begin the afternoon in style.

Archery

The archery workshop is a diverse activity. The individual scores but especially the team scores are recorded. Shooting gets an extra dimension because, among other things, you will shoot while blindfolded… Archery can be organized in the castle garden, during bad weather an awning will be set up.

A walk with a ranger

Give your participants a breath of fresh air in the morning or during the meeting by offering a walk accompanied by a ranger. The walk takes 1.5 hours and is 4.5 km long.

Landgoed Heidestein is a location hidden in the woods near Zeist. Here, Drenth Heath sheep graze on the moors between the old pine forests. This is what the Utrechtse Heuvelrug looked like more than a hundred years ago. All kinds of remains of the historic estate, such as the tea house and the pond, give the estate its own atmosphere. This walk takes you past several historic places in this beautiful nature reserve that is managed by Utrecht Landscape.

Real Life Escape Game

Experience a unique adventure in which you step into the role of criminals, pull off a spectacular heist, and divide the loot. But can you answer the question “Who can I trust?” while working together and solving puzzles to unravel the mystery?
In one of our (castle) rooms, you solve challenging escape room puzzles from a specific role in the story, where teamwork and trust are the keys to success. Your choices determine the outcome of this immersive adventure, which revolves around collaboration and interests within organizations.
Perfect for a less active workshop and ideal in both good and bad weather.

Mountain Bike Clinic

Take a beautiful ride with a guide along the mountain bike routes of Zeist and Austerlitz, which are located around Kasteel Kerckebosch. These routes are part of the extensive mountain biking network on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
The experienced, certified, local guides not only help you improve your mountain biking skills, but also take the group on a wonderful ride along the most beautiful trails and tell you all about the surroundings. It’s also suitable for beginners: you’ll start with a detailed explanation, basic checks, and fun exercises to learn the most important skills.

Painting

Learn the basics of painting in a fun way with this workshop. Where better than in the inspiring surroundings of our castle and wooded garden.

Drone Workshop

For companies, drones offer all kinds of unique applications. During this workshop we demonstrate the possibilities for deploying a drone within the organization. In order to strengthen these stories, we give a demonstration of various drones, during which we also provide information about the technical performance and specifications. Enthusiasts may also take on the controller themselves. All of this is supplemented with beautiful video images.
