Do we have the castle area exclusively for ourselves?
Yes! You rent the entire castle area, so there will be no other groups or parties present. This area starts from the large heavy Dom door (at the reception). Your space includes our salon, lounge, bar, castle hall, Lintelo Room, and terrace. Additionally, the 14 hotel rooms located above are exclusively reserved for you.
Are you an official wedding venue?
Yes, Kasteel Kerckebosch is a recognized wedding venue.
Where can our guests park?
Around the castle, we have parking spaces for about 80 cars. Parking on our premises is always at your own risk. If these parking spaces are full, there is additional parking available in the surrounding area. These are public parking spaces.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
No, this is not allowed. Food and drinks are provided by Kasteel Kerckebosch. The only exception is the wedding cake.
Do you have partners you recommend?
We have a wonderful group of partners that we would like to introduce to you. They can be found here (Our Preferred Partners | Kasteel Kerckebosch Zeist). We have been working with these partners for years, and they know very well how to make your day even more special.
When do we need to provide the final guest numbers?
We would like to receive the final numbers for adults and children (including the bridal couple) about 2 weeks before your wedding. At that time, we would also like to receive information about any allergies and dietary requirements. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to accommodate last-minute dietary requests, and extra costs may be involved.
Can we visit the venue before the wedding?
We have several contact moments with you:
First contact: You visit us, and we discuss your wishes, possibilities, and planning. Based on this conversation, we create the offer.
Second contact: We organize a speed date event four times a year, during which you are welcome to visit our location.
Third contact: About 6 weeks before your wedding, we discuss the details of your wedding on-site during the schedule discussion. This is also the time when you can taste the menu.
Two weeks before your wedding: We receive the final guest numbers per part of the day (adults & children), allergy/dietary requirements, and the final seating arrangement for the ceremony and dinner.
Two days before your wedding: We confirm whether the wedding will take place indoors or outdoors. Due to preparations and the possible reservation of products, this choice is final at that time.
Is your venue accessible for wheelchairs?
Our castle itself is easily accessible by wheelchair. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator, and all our rooms are located on the first or second floor. Our gravel terrace is accessible via the lawn.
Do you have a sound system?
Indoors, we have a standard sound system for background music, to which we can connect a microphone. We cannot connect recording equipment to this system. Since we are located near other buildings, we have clear rules for music volume both indoors and outdoors.
Can you arrange taxis for us?
Of course, we are happy to help with this. To ensure availability, it is best to reserve this in advance. We also recommend checking out the options at Expattaxi.
Can we decorate everything according to our wishes?
The castle is a listed building, which means that nothing can be affixed with tape, adhesive, or any other sticky material in and around the building. Additionally, real candles are not allowed anywhere except on the dinner table. Therefore, it is good to discuss everything with us in advance. We are happy to explain what is and isn’t possible.
Do you have additional decoration options available?
We always recommend our preferred partners for complete decoration. However, we also have some additional options and extras to make it even more beautiful, such as our illuminated LOVE letters. Additionally, we have items like menu cards and welcome boards. Please ask our colleagues about our extra possibilities.
Do you serve drinks all day?
We offer different drink packages for your celebration. Our sommelier is also happy to advise on wine selection for the dinner. We serve drinks throughout the day up until the start of the party. From the party onwards, guests can order drinks at the bar.
Is a photoshoot possible at the castle?
This is only possible on the day of your wedding. If you are not getting married with us, this is not allowed.
