Ordering and payment
In our webshop, online gift certificates and items can be ordered and paid for directly. For processing the payment, there is the option for an online iDEAL payment. The payments take place in a secure environment.
Delivery and shipping
Castle Kerckebosch sends gift certificates and items on all workdays before 16:00. Castle Kerckebosch delivers the order in collaboration with My-Parcel, via PostNL, within 2 to 3 workdays to the desired address. Deliveries outside the Netherlands are usually delivered within 3-10 workdays. For shipping within the Netherlands, € 6.95 will be charged. Shipping outside the Netherlands costs € 12.50.
Of course, it is also possible to pick up orders in Castle Kerckebosch. Orders are nearly always in stock and can be picked up the next workday.

These general terms and conditions apply to any offer from the enterprise and to any distance contract concluded between the enterprise and a consumer. Before concluding a distance contract, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer free of charge. If this is not reasonably possible, then before the distance agreement is concluded, it will be indicated that the general terms and conditions are available from the enterprise and will be sent at the request of the consumer to the consumer as soon as possible without charge.
If the distance contract is concluded electronically, then in derogation of the previous paragraph and before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions may also be provided to the consumer electronically in such a way that the consumer can easily store then on a durable data carrier. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be indicated, before the distance contract is concluded, how the general terms and conditions can be inspected electronically and that they will be sent free of charge at the consumer's request, electronically or in another manner. In the event that aside from these general terms and conditions, specific product and service conditions also apply, the second and third paragraphs apply correspondingly, and in case of conflict with the general terms and conditions, the consumer can always rely on the relevant provision that is most favourable for the consumer.
All offers from Castle Kerckebosch are without obligation and are subject to availability of the product. If a product is (temporarily) no longer available, you will be informed by e-mail after your order.
The information provided by us (including image/description) regarding the offer and/or product is as accurate as possible, but cannot give more than a general presentation of the offer and/or the product. Deviations, obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not give you the right to dissolve the agreement, except and insofar as the right of return.
An agreement is only created after acceptance of your order by Castle Kerckebosch. Castle Kerckebosch is entitled to refuse orders or to impose certain conditions on the agreement. Castle Kerckebosch will confirm the creation of the agreement and its content within 10 days after the creation by e-mail, with the records of Castle Kerckebosch being determinative.
Prices and payments
The prices for the products and services offered are expressed in euros, including VAT and excluding handling and shipping costs, any other taxes or charges, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.
Payment can only be made via iDEAL as indicated during the ordering process. Further (payment or order) conditions can be set for your order. Upon receipt of the payment, the order will be processed and the goods sent. Castle Kerckebosch can expand payment options in the future. Other payment options will be made known via the internet site, or in writing.
If you are in default of any payment, Castle Kerckebosch is entitled to suspend or dissolve (the fulfilment of) the relevant agreement and related agreements.
Delivery/retention of ownership
The delivery terms specified by Castle Kerckebosch on the website and in the order confirmation are indicative. Should this delivery time not be achievable, we will inform you. You then have the right to dissolve the agreement. Amounts already paid will be credited as soon as possible, but within 30 days.
Exceeding the delivery time never leads to liability for Castle Kerckebosch, and only gives you the right to dissolve the agreement if the delivery time is exceeded by more than 30 days.
The ownership of delivered products transfers only after you have satisfied all obligations you owe to Castle Kerckebosch on the basis of any agreement. Castle Kerckebosch is authorized to use third parties for the delivery of your order(s). If you are not present at the time of delivery, Castle Kerckebosch is entitled to transfer the order to third parties at your address or to an adjacent address, after signature on the delivery slip. The risk in respect of the products transfers to you upon signature by you or by third parties.
Upon delivery, you must check whether the product meets the agreement. If this is not the case, you must notify Castle Kerckebosch of this as soon as possible, but in any case within seven (7) workdays after the delivery, or at least after the discover was reasonably possible, in writing (e-mail) and with reasons.
If it is demonstrated that the product does not meet the agreement, Castle Kerckebosch has the choice upon return of replacing the relevant product or refunding the invoice value.
In case of force majeure, Castle Kerckebosch is not obliged to fulfil its obligations to the Buyer, or the obligation is suspended for the duration of the force majeure. Force majeure is understood to mean any circumstance independent of the will of Castle Kerckebosch whereby the fulfilment of the obligations to the Buyer is hindered, in whole or in part. Such circumstances include strikes, fire, business disruptions, power failures, non- or non-timely delivery from suppliers or other third parties engaged. Force majeure is also understood to mean disruptions in a (telecommunications) network or connection or communications systems used and/or the unavailability at any time of the internet site.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
All offers and agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
